I worked with
ViewPoint Corporation in New York City in 2000 to update their existing
documentation for their ViewPoint 3D Photo Studio product. The existing
documentation required extensive rewriting, reorganizing and reformatting.
This software allows users to create compact 3D models for use on Web sites.
I have since worked on several updates to the manual. |

I worked with
Centerstone software in Cambridge, MA
for much of 1999 to produce
documentation for their flagship product: APPLIED FMS. This package allows large
building management organizations to administer the many resources involved
in managing large properties. My projects included paper user guides,
documentation updates delivered as Adobe Acrobat PDF files and HTML
online documentation. |

I worked with a company called Regional
Economic Models, Inc. (REMI) on their economic modeling program. This
program enables organizations and government agencies to plug in various
economic variables to forecast the outcome of a particular economic
scenario. I produced a tutorial for their "prerelease version" of
the product, then produced the user guide. |

For several years, I worked with a
software company called Specular International. Among my projects was Specular's
Infini-D 4.0 manual. This
400-page
manual explains how to use Infini-D; Specular's 3D drawing, rendering and animation
package. Although we were working from an existing manual, I had to write much of
the material from scratch as the interface changed
dramatically for this version while rewriting most of the material we kept from the
previous manual. Specular was sold to MetaTools in 1998. |

I worked with a small programming shop called Berkshire Technologies in the
spring and summer of 1998 to produce several user guides for a large
Boston-based financial services company. These programs were produced with
Excel and Visual Basic and helped manage several complex sales tasks. Since
then, I have completed several updates to these materials. |
