Technical Editing Project Details

In May of 1998, I completed a technical edit of the 1000 page Running Excel 2000 book from Microsoft Press. 

I was responsible for loading the most recent available beta of Microsoft Excel 2000, then checking the instructions in the book against the program to be sure they were accurate. In addition, I had to check every screen against the program to make sure they matched. 

I generated reports of any discrepancies found, then communicated with the three authors and a project manager via email to work out solutions.
